Tournament stages: setup, registration, live, completed
What each stage means and which actions are available in each.
Setup (draft)
You have a tournament but no bracket yet. Add participants, adjust settings and generate when ready. Nothing is final and you can regenerate as often as you like.
Registration
If open sign-ups are enabled, participants can register until you close registration or generate the bracket. Pending registrations can be approved, waitlisted or rejected.
Live
Once matches exist and results start coming in the tournament is live. Standings, brackets and embeds update in real time for every viewer.
Completed
Mark the tournament completed from the manage page. Final placements are locked, result emails go out (if enabled) and Elo rankings are updated. You can reopen a completed tournament if you need to correct a result.
