Elo rankings and K-factors
Cross-tournament ratings for your community.
Create a ranking
On your community page open Rankings and create one per game or division. Set the starting rating (default 1000) and link tournaments to it; completed matches update ratings automatically.
K-factors
The K-factor controls how much a single result moves a rating. New players use a higher K (fast calibration), established players a normal K, and players above the pro threshold a lower K for stability. Defaults: 40 / 20 / 10.
Expected score
A player rated 200 points higher is expected to win about 76% of the time; beating a much stronger opponent yields a big gain, while losing to a weaker one costs more.
